Douglas Rushkoff was invited by five ultra-wealthy tech billionaires to advise them on where to build bunkers in preparation for 'the event'—a catastrophic societal collapse due to electromagnetic pulse, revolution, climate change, or pandemic. They wanted to know where to put their bunkers in case of what they called the event, you know, the electromagnetic pulse or revolution, climate event or pandemic that makes the world unlivable and forces them to go somewhere else.

Peter Thiel's worldview, as interpreted by Rushkoff, posits a pyramidal society where a select few 'level up' (from zero to one) by aggregating resources and power. In this model, mutual aid and wealth distribution are seen as a 'satanic force' that wastes resources that could otherwise contribute to the transcendence of the elite.

Peter Teal was doing these lectures on on Satanism... he sees mutual aid as the satanic force... his book is called from zero to one, meaning that you go from zero to one. That you need to become one order of magnitude above everybody else.

Rushkoff traces the origin of the current economic system to the late Middle Ages, when local, expiring currencies optimized for trade were replaced by central currency borrowed at interest. This shift created an inherent need for constant economic growth (GDP) to repay interest, driving colonialism, consumerism, and the exploitation of resources and attention.

Now, what you have to do is borrow money from the central treasury at interest... The only way to get more is the economy has to grow. And that's why we talk about to this day, that's why we talk about GDP and economic growth.

The empirical scientific method, as promoted by Francis Bacon, framed nature as something to be 'held down and submitted to our will.' This 'scientistic' mindset reduces reality to quantifiable metrics, dismissing anything unmeasurable (like the soul or 'junk DNA') as noise. This reductionist view, combined with growth-driven capitalism, justifies the exploitation of people and resources, as exemplified by Epstein's funding of anti-spiritual scientists.

When he was selling the idea of empirical science... he said that empirical science will let us take nature by the forlock, hold her down, and submit her to our will... Epstein funded these particularly scientistic kind of anti-spiritual scientists as a way of kind of justifying the exploitation of all these other people.

The increasing density of satellites and debris in Earth's orbit is leading to Kessler Syndrome, a cascading effect where collisions create more fragments, potentially rendering certain orbits impassable. This ironically traps those who seek to escape Earth, as the very technology meant to facilitate their exit creates an insurmountable barrier.

It's called Kesler syndrome where there's so many that it cascades and then it's just like just zillions and zillions of particles... it makes it impossible to get off planet.
