Tucker Carlson Responds to Israel’s War on Iran

Tucker Carlson asserts that the US military engagement against Iran is not for American national security but is 'Israel's war,' driven by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's long-term strategic plan for regional dominance. He claims Netanyahu's vision involves eliminating Iran as a rival to achieve complete control over the Middle East.

Carlson states, 'This happened because Israel wanted it to happen. This is Israel's war. It is not the United States' war.' (0:36) He adds, 'This is the culmination of a long-term strategic plan... to achieve regional hegemony: total control.' (4:57, 19:08)

Carlson argues that the US government, particularly the Biden administration, has acceded to Israeli demands for regime change in Iran, despite the clear absence of direct US national interests and the significant risks involved. He highlights Netanyahu's repeated visits to the White House to push this agenda.

Carlson states, 'The United States sent its military forces into this conflict because the Prime Minister of Israel... Benjamin Netanyahu, Bibi, demanded it.' (4:04) He notes, 'Seven trips to the White House over the past year and the point of those trips never changed. The United States needs to change the Iranian regime.' (4:17)

Carlson contends that a secondary objective of the war, from Israel's perspective, is to destabilize and weaken the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, which are economic and diplomatic rivals. He also claims the war is designed to force a humiliating US withdrawal from the Middle East, making America an unreliable ally and clearing the path for Israel's regional ambitions.

Carlson explains, 'To control the Middle East, you have to weaken or destroy the Gulf states.' (26:45) He adds, 'This war is designed to do that because the Israelis... know there is no appetite whatsoever for American casualties among the American public... This would cause a political crisis in the United States and, more importantly, it would convince our Arab allies in the region... that the United States is a bad ally.' (31:04, 31:34, 33:43)

Carlson identifies Europe as another significant loser in the conflict. He points to the immediate impact of Qatar halting LNG exports, which supplies a large portion of European energy, and predicts a massive refugee crisis from a destabilized Iran, similar to the Syrian crisis.

Carlson states, 'The biggest loser of all, perhaps, right now, is Western Europe.' (37:26) He highlights, 'Qatar yesterday shut down LNG exports... 20% of the world's total supply is now off.' (37:31, 38:09, 38:12) He warns of 'second-order effect: refugee crises' from a chaotic Iran, similar to Syria, with refugees flowing into Europe. (38:31, 39:19, 39:35)

Carlson argues that the stated goal of regime change in Iran inherently requires US ground troops, despite official denials. He criticizes politicians like Senator Tom Cotton for downplaying this reality, suggesting it's a deliberate deception to get the public to accept military escalation.

Carlson states, 'If you're serious about changing the leadership of a country, that requires by definition that you go in there... You need ground troops.' (46:59, 47:11) He contrasts this with Senator Cotton's claims of no 'large-scale ground troops,' implying 'small-scale' deployment is the unspoken plan. (46:16, 46:22)

Carlson introduces the concept of a 'spiritual war' underlying these geopolitical events, asserting that it fundamentally targets faithful Christians. He criticizes Christian leaders who endorse violence and war, arguing they are distorting Christian teachings and contributing to this 'demonic' influence.

Carlson claims, 'This is a spiritual war... at the core of all of it, it is aimed at Christians.'
