Rubio Cuba REGIME CHANGE In Play As Island STARVES

President Trump publicly stated that the US was engaged in high-level negotiations with Cuban officials. However, Cuban officials immediately denied these claims, both publicly and privately, while also expressing a desire for talks on various issues including democracy, human rights, and foreign investment.

Sources indicate that Senator Marco Rubio is allegedly providing Trump with false information about ongoing high-level negotiations. The supposed strategy is to later declare these 'talks' failed due to Cuban recalcitrance, thereby justifying a push for complete regime change in Cuba.

According to our sources, Marco Rubio is telling Trump, yes, there are high these highle negotiations going on the with the idea being that in a couple weeks or a couple months, he'll say, you know, we tried and it didn't it didn't happen. They were they were recalcitrant... so we just need to do, you know, complete and total uh regime change. (1:38)

Cuba is experiencing a severe humanitarian crisis, marked by critical fuel shortages. This situation is a direct consequence of stringent US sanctions, which not only prohibit direct US trade but also prevent other countries like Mexico and Venezuela from supplying oil to the island, forcing Cuba to cut fuel to essential services like hospitals and nursing homes.

Trump has cut off all oil. He has and he he told Mexico, 'If you send any oil, you're getting tariffed and sanctioned.' And so Cuba has responded by um cut, you know, cutting uh fuel to significant parts of the island, focusing on the the tourist area... and nursing homes and and hospitals. A Politico report on alleged CIA-Cuban talks in Mexico, headlined 'Could a Castro become our man in Havana?', was found to be based on a chain of unverified information. The story originated from an incoherent Facebook post by a Cuban living in Spain, was then picked up by a dissident Cuban blogger, and subsequently amplified by Politico, which later clarified it was merely 'highlighting chatter' rather than reporting confirmed facts.

Politico wrote this article/newsletter with a headline, 'could a Castro become our man in Havana?'... about these meetings... But then if you read through the Politico report... February 2nd article in uh 14 Y media... by a kind of dissident um blogger... then if you read through her post... you get to a January 31st post by Carlos Cabrera Perez... on Facebook, published in Spain... it is um complete and total uh gibberish. (4:20) ...the comment I got back from Politico is quote, 'As the item makes clear, Politico was highlighting chatter about talks, not reporting that talks had in fact taken place.' (7:28)

Donald Trump has maintained a registered trademark for 'Trump Havana' since 2008, renewing it annually. This suggests a long-standing personal business interest in Cuba, which could potentially motivate a future shift in his policy towards the island, similar to his past actions in other regions.
