David Anthony Burke, known as D4VD, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, continuous lewd and lascivious sex acts with a minor, and mutilating human remains in connection with the death of 14-year-old Celeste Hernandez. Special circumstances attached to the murder charge include lying in wait, murdering a witness in an investigation, and financial gain, suggesting he killed her to prevent exposure of their alleged sexual relationship and protect his career.

Police believe Celeste was murdered on April 23rd, 2025, after being lured to Burke's house. Her dismembered remains were found five months later. Investigators have digital evidence, witness testimony, and documents.

The audio recording from inside the FedEx truck, recorded after Hero covered the camera, captured Athena's final moments. Hero's interview footage included his 'Zero' claim and a note about wanting to end his own life. Athena's family testified about her life and personality.

Lynette Hooker vanished from a small dinghy during a nighttime cruise with her husband, Brian, in the Bahamas.
