5 ‘Bad Pastors’ Caught on Bodycam

Keith Holt, identifying as a lead pastor, and his wife Candy were arrested in Blackwell, Oklahoma, following a DHS report and a teen daughter's testimony of severe beatings. Forensic interviews with their eight children revealed consistent allegations of abuse, including beatings with paddles/boards, belt whips, being thrown down stairs, and being locked in a bathroom for days without food or water. Both initially denied the extent of the abuse, with Keith eventually admitting to using a 2x2 board and spanking, though denying the severity reported by the children.

Police responded to a DHS report; a teen daughter showed bruises on her arms and legs. Children's forensic interviews detailed beatings and confinement. Keith Holt later admitted to spanking with a board, contradicting earlier denials.

Luis Sosa, a 50-year-old former missionary pastor from Argentina, was arrested in Palm Coast, Florida, on three active warrants from North Carolina for human trafficking and sexual offenses. The charges stemmed from alleged incidents between 2002 and 2008 involving two minor victims (ages 13-17) whom Sosa allegedly brought to North Carolina under the guise of a ministry opportunity, then sexually assaulted them.

Flaggler County Sheriff's Office contacted by North Carolina authorities regarding three active arrest warrants for Luis Sosa related to alleged sexual offenses with minors (13-17) from 2002-2008, connected to a religious ministry.

Father Fidel Rodriguez of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Florida, was accused of biting a woman's hand during communion. The woman claimed she was denied communion because she hadn't confessed or attended mass regularly, and after a verbal exchange and an attempt to take another host, the priest bit her. Father Rodriguez admitted to the bite, stating it was an act of defense to protect the consecrated host, which he considered sacred, after the woman allegedly grabbed and broke multiple hosts.

The alleged victim showed a bite mark on her hand. Father Rodriguez stated, 'I recognized that I bit her. I'm not denying that,' claiming it was in defense of the sacred Eucharist.

Channing Cooks, a self-identified youth pastor, was arrested at a Walmart in Palm Coast, Florida, for battery after allegedly spitting on an employee during a dispute over a baby formula return. Cooks initially claimed he merely 'sneezed' unintentionally and that the employee had assaulted him first. However, after being detained, he expressed remorse, stating his conscience was 'eating him up' and that he couldn't 'keep carrying on like this' as a youth pastor.

Walmart employee reported being spit on. Surveillance footage captured the incident. Cooks later apologized for his language and admitted, 'I didn't intentionally spit on nobody, but I can't keep carrying on like this, man. I'm a youth pastor.'

Pastor David Bullock of Greater St. Matthew Baptist Church in Highland Park, Michigan, was arrested for interfering with a police investigation. Officers were responding to an assault by a mentally unwell woman on a 13-year-old girl. Pastor Bullock repeatedly questioned the officers' actions, specifically why they were taking information from a victim who didn't want to press charges, and encouraged bystanders to film and call the media during his arrest.

Pastor Bullock repeatedly asked officers, 'What's all this for?' and 'I can't ask an officer a question?' after being asked to step back from the investigation. He instructed bystanders to 'be taking pictures while you praying,' 'get some video,' and 'call the mayor, call the news.'
