Candace Owens claims her trip to Russia was a family vacation, during which she accepted an invitation to speak on a panel at the SPIEF conference. She states that requests to interview Vladimir Putin were denied, as they have been for five years. Owens frames the media backlash and accusations of propaganda as a 'Zionist freakout,' attributing it to a historical animosity stemming from Jewish overrepresentation in terrorist groups involved in the assassination of Tsar Alexander II and the Bolshevik Revolution.

Owens states, 'My husband and I planned a family vacation to Russia. We then thought, 'Hey, while we're there, we should try to see if we can get an interview with Vladimir Putin cuz that would make sense. It'd be amazing.' And so, we put in a formal request, and that request was denied, as it is every year.' She later adds, 'It was the Zionists that were having an absolute meltdown about Russia. It's historical. There's a historical reason as to why.'

During her trip, an American military security member accompanying Owens suffered a stroke. He received immediate, high-quality brain surgery in a Russian hospital, which Owens contrasts sharply with the US VA system. She reveals the serviceman had been seeking an appointment with the VA for years due to pre-existing symptoms, only to be gaslit and denied care, leading to the severe medical emergency. Owens expresses anger at America's treatment of its veterans.

Owens describes the incident: 'our American military person had had collapsed at breakfast... he's had a stroke.' She continues, 'he got to the hospital, his assessment was correct... he immediately was going to have to have brain surgery.' She later states, 'he was trying to get an appointment with the VA for years... they were effectively gaslighting him.'

Owens criticizes Turning Point USA's current leadership, specifically Erica Kirk and Alex Clark, for perceived hypocrisy and a 'faith grift.' She highlights Erica Kirk's alleged association with individuals and organizations facing trafficking allegations and Alex Clark's 'godly' persona being undermined by her 'disgusting' and 'fraudulent' behavior, including attacking Owens and her associates. Owens argues that TPUSA has lost its original focus on youth, attracting an older demographic due to distrust in the new leadership.

Owens states, 'This is kind of like the entire new Turning Point grift. It's just so icky.' She later says of Alex Clark, 'Alex Clark really is a perfect mascot for Turning Point 2.0, better known as Turning Coat USA, reversing virtually every position and value that Charlie had.'

Candace Owens strongly suspects that a video presented by Erica Kirk, purportedly showing Charlie Kirk appointing her as CEO of Turning Point USA, is doctored. Owens points out inconsistencies, such as Charlie Kirk's previous public statements against women prioritizing careers over family, the lack of official documentation, and the selective release of the video. She notes that TPUSA's initial excuse for not releasing the full video (to protect donors) was false, and their subsequent responses have been evasive.

Owens states, 'I will say definitively that I believe that this clip is doctored.' She questions, 'Who is he looking at? Erica's not in the audience.' She also references Charlie Kirk's past statements: 'didn't Charlie specifically speak against women taking on such a career repeatedly?'
