Ray McGovern: CIA Attacks Tucker Carlson?- Iran Closer to ‘OBLITERATING’ Israel in Weeks —Then What?

Tucker Carlson reported that the CIA is preparing a criminal referral against him for speaking with Iranians before the war, potentially under the Foreign Agent Act. He dismisses the legal basis, asserting his loyalty to the US and his journalistic duty to speak to everyone.

Carlson's direct statement: 'The crime under consideration apparently would be the foreign agent act or something like that acting as a agent of a foreign power. ... I'm not an agent of a foreign power.'

Ray McGovern asserts that the US is engaged in an 'unwarranted war of aggression' against Iran, which he explicitly states is 'a war for Israel, pure and simple.' He links this to the Nuremberg trials' definition of aggression as the 'most heinous international crime.'

McGovern: 'The war against Iran is a war for Israel, pure and simple. He has not hesitated from saying that.' and 'When you start a war of aggression, it's the most heinous international crime.'

The host, Nema, who recently visited Iran, details Iran's military and economic readiness for a long war, potentially exceeding eight years. He highlights their self-sufficiency in food production (10-12 times more than during the Iran-Iraq war) and minimal (10%) dependence on imports.

Nema: 'They have been preparing for this moment because they knew the war is coming. They they're they're prepared totally militarily, economically... The country is producing food water... and the economy is totally prepared for a long war. I'm talking about more than eight years of war.'

McGovern expresses concern that a false flag attack, possibly within the United States, could be orchestrated and blamed on Iranians to justify the use of nuclear weapons or increased violence against Iran, similar to past justifications like WMDs in Iraq.

McGovern: 'More likely than a nuclear war would be a a false flag attack. A false flag attack. Maybe even here in the United States, the homeland which we call it now, which would be blamed on the Iranians, and then justify... a use of nuclear weapons or even more violence uh against Iran.'

McGovern alleges that Secretary of War Pete Hicks personally abolished a 'fail-safe unit' designed to update target lists and prevent civilian casualties. He claims this led to a Tomahawk missile strike on a girls' school in Minab, killing 70 young girls and teachers.

McGovern: 'Pete Hicks the secretary of war being personally responsible for removing restraints. That is a whole office designed to make sure that the target list in Iran and elsewhere is updated with the latest information... Pete Hexth abolished the failafe unit.'

McGovern reveals that an Omani foreign minister mediated a deal with Iran on February 26th, where Iran made significant concessions regarding enrichment and inspections. This potential peace agreement was reportedly communicated to US Vice President Vance and a CBS reporter hours before Israel launched an attack on Iran.

McGovern: 'We know that the Iranians were ready to make a deal on the 26th of uh of February... They flew right away to Washington. They told Vice President Vance and they told CBS reporter, what's her name? Margaret Brennan... within hours uh the attack was launched by whom? Oh, by Israel?'
