BACKFIRE: Trump deals himself FATAL BLOW

Donald Trump's administration had achieved a 4-year low in gas prices, a significant point of popular support. However, his decision to bomb Iran caused oil prices to skyrocket from $90 to an expected $150 per barrel, leading to a $0.20-$0.50 per gallon increase in gas prices in a single day. This action directly contradicted his campaign promise of 'no new wars' and eliminated a key economic talking point.

Gas prices had been at a 4-year low under Trump with a national average of about $2.98 a gallon...Donald Trump decided to bomb Iran...oil prices have now skyrocketed. The price per barrel is $90, expected to go as high as $150 per barrel. The cost of gas at the pump has risen between 20 to 50 in a single day.

Senator Bernie Sanders warns that the rapid growth of artificial intelligence and robotics is poised to have a 'cataclysmic impact' on the economy and society. He notes that AI can perform white-collar jobs better than humans, and robots can replace factory and warehouse workers more cheaply and efficiently, without requiring benefits or time off. This transformation is already beginning to manifest in job numbers.

You're having pretty knowledgeable people about AI who are saying guess what uh if you're a white collar job within a x number of years there will be artificial intelligence that can do your job better than you can do it today. If you are working in a warehouse or you're working in a factory well guess what in y number of years there's going to be a robot that will take your job. Robot cost your employer $20,000 to buy. that robot works 24 hours a day, doesn't need any health care, doesn't need uh time off uh when they have a baby.

Senator Bernie Sanders proposes a 5% annual wealth tax on billionaires, arguing that the wealthiest individuals (e.g., Musk, Bezos, Gates) have seen their fortunes grow exponentially while 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. He states that billionaires in America became $1.5 trillion richer since Trump's election. This tax, he claims, could provide a $3,000 check to every American and fund critical social programs, reversing cuts to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act.

The billionaires in America about a thousand people have become a trillion and a half dollars richer...one guy, Mr. Musk, now owns more wealth than the bottom 53% of American households...It's a 5% annual tax on only billionaires...in the first year, you have a $3,000 check to every man, woman, and child in this country. And the other thing it would do is end Trump's uh cuts in Medicaid, Medicare, Affordable Care Act.

The House Oversight Committee issued a subpoena for Pam Bondi, the Attorney General responsible for the Epstein files, with bipartisan support. Democrats accuse Bondi of hiding, deflecting, and lying about the files, attempting to end the investigation prematurely, and redacting co-conspirator names while exposing victims. This action sets a precedent for potentially subpoenaing former presidents, including Donald Trump, to testify on their involvement.

We were able to actually keep a united Democratic committee member caucus together and we teamed up with Representative Nancy Mace uh to get a motion for Pam Bondi to be essentially subpoenaed in front of our committee...Pam Bondi, the AG who's been responsible for hiding and deflecting and lying about the Epstein files, will now be in front of the committee doing the Epstein investigation.

Analysis of the Texas primary results indicates that Republican efforts to gerrymander districts to their advantage (a 'dummymander') have backfired. In four newly drawn 'Trump +10/15' districts, more Democrats voted than Republicans. This trend, coupled with significant swings in Latino and youth voter turnout back towards Democrats in Texas and other states, suggests a 're-realignment' away from Republican gains seen in 2024, potentially benefiting Democrats in upcoming elections.

In all four of these districts that are new districts they created to be their uh safe seats. And all four of them, more Democrats voted than Republicans...Latino voters across Texas...we've seen Latino voters swinging back massively to Democrats...Youth turnout again surged by more than any other group in the 2022 Democratic primary.
