Steele states, 'We were always the trusted advocate for freedoms and the rights of individuals... Now, we've set ourselves a flame with that torch.' He later adds, 'Right now, we are no better than Iran in many respects in how we approach our own people.'

Both the host and Michael Steele assert that the Trump administration's military actions in Venezuela and Iran were not for national interest but for personal financial enrichment. They specifically cite Jared Kushner's involvement in negotiating oil and land deals in the Middle East.

Steele explains the Venezuelan situation: 'The whole Venezuelan thing was, okay, we'll grab Maduro... but we'll leave everything else in place because we want to control the oil in Venezuela. That's what that's about.' Regarding Iran, he adds, 'Jared Kushner and and the nitwit with him are negotiating... oil deals. That's what they're negotiating. They're negotiating land deals where, you know, they get a piece of something.' The host adds, 'I think we're in this war because Jared Kushner told Donald Trump to be in it and Benjamin Netanyahu and Jared Kushner were talking about that.'

The speakers highlight specific instances of disrespect shown by Donald Trump and his administration towards fallen military personnel. This includes Trump wearing a baseball cap at a dignified transfer ceremony and the use of delivery vans instead of hearses for soldiers' coffins.

The host states, 'Donald Trump went to the dignified transfer in a freaking baseball cap and did not take it off.' Steele adds, 'The fact that these MFs have not acknowledged the men and women who've been killed.' The host also mentions, 'instead of bringing a hearse for each each one of the fallen soldiers, they stuck them in delivery vans piled on top of each other.'

Steele states, 'The Republican party in the modern era has been this conflicting cesspool of ideology, extremism, racism, and a whole lot of other things.' He notes that Mike Johnson 'was the safest' choice for Speaker and that 'the only thing he knows how to do is two things: nod his head yes and plant his lips squarely on the behind of Donald Trump.'

The host and Steele discuss attempts by the administration and its allies to silence critical reporting, including threats to revoke broadcast licenses of news organizations that do not 'tow the government line.' They warn that this leads to a state-run media, akin to Russia or North Korea, where the government controls the narrative and suppresses truth.

The host mentions, 'Brendan Carr is now saying if networks don't tow the government line, they might get their licenses, you know, revoked. This is full-on threat to the First Amendment stuff.' Steele adds, 'We're going to shut down the ability for you to show the world what we're doing and to tell the world about what we're doing. We don't want any other opinion, but the one we put in front of you, that is truth. And anything less than our truth is treason.'

The 'Save Act' is framed as a Republican initiative designed to suppress votes, not to ensure election integrity. The host explains that it would federalize state voting roles, allowing the government to remove individuals from voter rolls every 30 days, including legally present immigrants.

The host explains, 'What they're saying is, 'We're going to change what the ID is and we're going to give all of the state roles to the feds and they can decide who gets to vote. They can pull people every 30 days from the voting roles.'' Steele adds that Project 2025's voting space focus 'is also going after people who are here legally, legitimately... and therefore pull your voting record.'

Both speakers emphasize that the most crucial action citizens can take is to 'overwhelm the ballot' with their votes. They assert that a high voter turnout makes it impossible for the system to be cheated or manipulated, thus preserving democratic integrity.

Steele states, 'Overwhelm the ballot with your vote... They can't cheat when you overwhelm the ballot with your vote.' He reiterates, 'When a lot of people turn out and vote, you cannot cheat that system. You just can't.'
