Gruesome D4vd case: chain saws, body bag, burn cage, kiddie pool - did anyone else know the plan?

D4vd allegedly met Celeste Rivas Hernandez when she was 11 and began a sexual relationship with her at 13, while he was 18. When Celeste, at 14, threatened to expose their relationship and ruin his music career, D4vd allegedly stabbed her to death to silence her.

Court documents state the victim and defendant met in January 2022 when she was 11, began a sexual relationship in November 2023 when she was 13 and he was 18. Text messages reveal Celeste's jealousy and threats to disclose damaging information to end his career. 'Knowing he had to silence the victim... he stabbed the victim to death multiple times and stood by while she bled out.'

Following the alleged murder, D4vd meticulously purchased tools online, including chainsaws, a body bag, heavy-duty laundry bags, and an inflatable pool, under a fake name. He allegedly used these items to dismember Celeste's body in his garage, placing her in the pool to contain blood, and amputating her fingers to remove a tattoo of his name.

Court documents detail purchases: a shovel (April 24, 2025), two chainsaws (May 1, 2025), a body bag, laundry bags, and a blue inflatable pool (May 5, 2025), all under the fake name 'Victor Menddees.' He allegedly 'placed her body into the blue inflatable pool to prevent her blood from spilling onto his garage floor' and 'used a chainsaw and perhaps other tools to cut off her limbs.' Her left ring and pinky fingers were amputated because her ring finger 'contained a tattoo of his name.'

D4vd allegedly texted Celeste's phone after her death to create a false trail for investigators. He also left her dismembered body in the trunk of his Tesla for weeks or months, despite going to lengths to dispose of other evidence.

Investigators allege D4vd 'drove away from his home as he texted and called the victim's home asking where she was' immediately after killing her. He 'left the victim's body to decompose inside of his Tesla' for 'several weeks or possibly months.'

The guest raises questions about the awareness of D4vd's family and inner circle regarding his relationship with a minor, especially given Celeste traveled internationally with him and his family fought subpoenas to testify before a grand jury.

Lauren Conlin states, 'I do have questions about the adults involved too, just knowing that she traveled to London with... David's circle.' She notes D4vd's family 'fought so hard not to... testify in front of the grand jury when they were subpoenaed.'
