Phil, a bar manager, is abducted by mobsters who demand he locate a 'DF drive' hidden by his quiet tech-worker roommate, Adam. Threatened with harm to his grandmother, Phil gains Adam's trust, reveals the situation, and helps Adam copy the data and flee. Phil then misleads the mobsters about the drive's location, leading them to stage a break-in. The mobsters later attempt to psychologically torment Phil by claiming they killed a homeless man and used his teeth to frame it as Adam's body, a lie Phil later debunks.
