More Democrats are going to the polls today than Republicans, which means in November we're not going to have a blue wave. We are going to have a blue tsunami. We are going to reelect Josh Shapiro and Austin Davis. We are going to elect Bob Harvey to Congress. We are going to flip the state Senate... We're going to expand our majorities in the state house.

Speakers consistently framed national Republican governance, particularly under Donald Trump, as characterized by 'chaos, cruelty, and corruption.' This includes attacks on neighbors, sending troops to cities, gutting government infrastructure, obliterating Medicare funding, separating families, canceling scientific funding (including cancer research), starting questionable wars, and driving up costs for gas and food. State-level Republicans are accused of stripping abortion rights, restricting voting, and gutting public education funding.

What we're witnessing is pure turmoil. An attack on our neighbors, troops being sent into American cities, the gutting of key government infrastructure and the systemic obliteration of Medicare funding. They're separating families and canceling critical scientific funding, including by the way cancer research... In 2022, Pennsylvania Republicans took action and voted to strip away a woman's right to choose. They have repeatedly put forward legislation to restrict your voting rights and limit ballot access. And they have repeatedly attempted to gut funding for our public education.

A central objective is to secure a Democratic trifecta in Pennsylvania—controlling the Governorship, State House, and State Senate. This would allow the party to move from playing defense to offense, enabling the enshrinement of a woman's right to choose into the constitution, passing common-sense gun safety legislation, expanding workers' rights, raising the minimum wage, fully funding mass transit and public education, and expanding affordable housing and healthcare.

With a Democratic trifecta in Harrisburg, we will no longer just be playing defense... We're going to go on the offensive. We're going to enshrine a woman's right to choose directly into our constitution... We're going to pass common sense gun safety legislation... We're going to expand access to jobs, and we're going to put money back into your pockets.

Governor Shapiro and Lieutenant Governor Davis highlighted their administration's achievements, including increasing public education investment by 30%, expanding mental health services in schools, making free breakfast universal for students, saving Pennsylvanians hundreds of millions on utility bills, creating nearly 23,000 new jobs, doubling investment in career and technical education, ending college degree requirements for state jobs, bringing down crime, passing criminal justice reforms, and implementing significant tax cuts for families and seniors. The rapid 12-day rebuild of I-95 after its collapse was also cited as a major success.

Together, we've increased investment in public education by 30%... free breakfast for all students is the law in Pennsylvania... We won and we saved the people of Pennsylvania hundreds of millions of dollars on their energy bills... creating nearly 23,000 new jobs... doubled our investment in votech, apprenticeships, and ending the college degree requirement to work in state government... We brought down crime to record lows... passed the largest targeted tax cut for seniors in nearly two decades... get traffic moving again on I-95 in just 12 days.

Speakers repeatedly emphasized that Pennsylvania's state and congressional elections have significant national implications. Flipping four congressional seats in Pennsylvania could give Democrats the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, potentially making a Republican president a 'lame duck.' State-level victories are also framed as a check on federal policies and a way to 'return sanity' to the country.
