Israel has dramatically ramped up its military attacks in Lebanon, including bombing Beirut and issuing forcible displacement orders for residents below the Zaharan River, encompassing 40% of the country. This escalation, alongside continued aggression and land takeover in Gaza, is seen as a deliberate strategy to sabotage potential US-Iran negotiations and expand Israeli control before any agreement limits its 'freedom of action.'

Zachary Foster states, 'Israel has no desire for a US Iranian deal and Israel realizes that the easiest way to sabotage that deal is to carpet bomb Lebanon.' He notes the forcible displacement order for 40% of Lebanon and Israel's control of over 60% of Gaza.

Hezbollah is utilizing inexpensive, unjammable FPV (First Person View) drones, costing only a few hundred dollars each, to launch thousands of direct attacks on Israeli military outposts in Lebanese territory. These attacks have proven highly effective, causing significant distress and defenselessness among Israeli soldiers, which in turn fuels genocidal rhetoric from Israeli officials.

Zachary Foster describes 'these FPV uh drones um that cannot be jammed by Israeli uh military at all. They are they are uh one after the other... Hezbollah has thousands of them and one after the other they can fire them directly onto and into Israeli military outposts that have been established on Lebanese territory.'

Dr. Adam Hamawy, a congressional candidate, argues that the immense US spending on foreign wars and the military-industrial complex (e.g., a billion dollars a day on the Iran war) could instead fund critical domestic programs. He highlights the contrast between the inability to afford Medicare for All or tuition-free public education and the immediate availability of funds for bombs and advanced weaponry, emphasizing the need to address infrastructure, healthcare, and housing crises at home.

Dr. Hamawy states, 'We're told that we can't afford Medicare for all but we have been spending a billion dollars a day on this war... We could have eliminated medical debt... we could have uh funded, you know, uh tuitionfree uh public education.'

Beyond direct military action, Israel is actively pursuing a strategy to destabilize Gaza by arming Palestinian militias composed of criminals, rapists, and drug dealers in Israeli-controlled territories. This 'two and a half yearlong project' aims to create internal strife and civil war, making Gaza 'completely and totally unlivable.' Concurrently, in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, Israel employs racist property laws to facilitate the demolition of Palestinian homes and the forcible expulsion of communities, even converting refugee camps into military bases.

Zachary Foster details Israel 'giving this gang one of these very sophisticated Israeli drones... They're planting the seeds of a civil war.' He also describes the 1970 law in East Jerusalem allowing Jews to reclaim property but not Palestinians, leading to 'ethnic cleansing the entirety of the neighborhood' in Silwan and the conversion of Janine, Tulkaram, and Nuresam's refugee camps into Israeli military bases.
