Hard or Soft?

Mark was surprised to find his arranged transport at the Cannes Film Festival was a motorcycle taxi, not a car. Despite initial surprise, the experience was positive, providing scenic views of Cannes and saving him 30 minutes in bumper-to-bumper airport traffic through lane splitting.

Wade highly recommends the Diablo 4 expansion, 'Lord of Hat,' calling it one of the best Diablo stories ever. He appreciated the depth of lore and backstory provided, finding himself deeply engrossed in the game.

Wade states, 'It's one of the better Diablo stories I think we've ever gotten. I just I thought it was really well told. I thought we got a lot of lore, a lot of backstory, and a lot of interesting stuff, and I was really engrossed in it.'

Mark argues that while hard tacos look appealing, their structural design is fundamentally flawed. He points out that the shell cracks and disintegrates upon the first bite, causing fillings to spill out, especially when wet ingredients compromise its integrity.

Mark explains, 'The second you have to actually encounter that, you realize the fundamental flaw in the human design. Our mouths are not vertical. And then you have to encounter the other fundamental flaw of the structural design of the thing that if as soon as you bite the cracks which propagate through a hard shell taco go almost entirely propagate down the bottom of it so that the entire ass of the taco falls out the first bite.'

Wade, having worked at an ice cream shop, reveals that soft serve machines are difficult to clean, particularly the chocolate side. He describes seeing chunks of chocolate sticking to the sides, which made soft serve unappealing to him and led him to prefer hard-scooped ice cream for its consistency and variety.

Wade recounts, 'The soft serve machine was a giant pain in the ass... watching just like the chunks of chocolate that weren't fully liquid that would stick to the sides and look like splatter in the top, it made soft serve really unappealing to me.'

Mark devised a clever hack to cool an overheating external dock while traveling for 'Iron Lung.' He used frozen Capri Sun pouches, which have an aluminum-based, thermally conductive pouch, as temporary, moldable heat sinks. The pouches would absorb heat, then be refrozen and reused.

Mark details, 'A Capri Sun has an aluminum soft aluminum based pouch... if you kept them in the fridge and or kept them in the freezer... You get the one from the fridge that's cold. You lay it on top of there. It would kind of mold a little bit to the shape of it and then it would heat up and it would be a little heat sink.'
